...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern
Spalding, southern Fayette, northern Meriwether, Pike, northern
Upson, southeastern Coweta and western Lamar Counties through 915 PM
EDT...

At 833 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was near Alvaton, or 13 miles
northeast of Greenville, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds 40 to 50 mph and up to penny sized hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Griffin, Thomaston, Barnesville, Zebulon, Peachtree City, Senoia,
Woodbury, Luthersville, Milner, Brooks, Molena, Williamson, Turin,
Orchard Hill, Meansville, Haralson, Aldora, Lone Oak, Gay, and Sunset
Village.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
