...Moderate to heavy rain will impact portions of western DeKalb,
south central Fulton and Clayton Counties through 945 AM EDT...

At 910 AM EDT, moderate to heavy rain was occurring over much of
Atlanta. This storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Moderate to heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Heavy rain may cause temporary street flooding especially
         in poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Atlanta, Decatur, Jonesboro, City of South Fulton, Sandy Springs,
East Point, Stockbridge, Union City, Forest Park, Riverdale, College
Park, Fairburn, Chamblee, Doraville, Clarkston, Morrow, Hapeville,
Avondale Estates, Lake City, and North Decatur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of
control due to hydroplaning.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 PM EDT for
north central Georgia.
