...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 AM EDT
FOR FLOYD AND CENTRAL CHATTOOGA COUNTIES...

At 601 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Holland, or 8
miles northwest of Rome, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Rome, Summerville, Cave Spring, Shannon, Lyerly, Lindale, Tidings,
Armuchee, Coosa, Berryton, Chattoogaville, James H. Floyd State Park,
and Holland.
