This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central South Dakota, east
central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated showers are possible this morning.

Widespread showers and storms will spread in from the southwest after
midnight tonight. Isolated severe storms are possible tonight with
the greatest threat 3 AM to 7 AM. Large hail up to quarter size,
damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, and heavy downpours are the main
hazards with the strongest storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Showers and isolated storms will continue through the day Tuesday,
but severe weather is unlikely. By Tuesday night, a widespread 1 to 2
inches of rain is expected.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed tonight for severe storms.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, east central South
Dakota and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Low chance of isolated showers and storms this afternoon and evening.
While severe weather cannot be ruled out this afternoon and evening,
the greatest threat will be from 3 AM to 9 AM Tuesday morning. Large
hail up to ping pong ball size, damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, and
flash flooding will be the main threats with strong to severe storms
but a tornado or two cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms may redevelop Tuesday
afternoon from 12 PM to 6 PM. Large hail up to ping pong ball size,
damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, and flash flooding will be the main
threats with strong to severe storms but a tornado or two cannot be
ruled out. By Tuesday night, expect a widespread 1 to 2 inches of
rain with some locations receiving over 3 inches.

Spotter activation will likely be needed tonight and again Tuesday
afternoon.
