...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO MONDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Navasota River above Groesbeck.

* WHEN...From this morning to Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, overbank flow is expected, with flooding
  occurring along the left bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:40 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest near 9
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding below Easterly
  is expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 21.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to slowly fall, but remain
    above flood stage, for the next several days.
