At 418 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Marietta to Trenton. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Sherman, Leonard, Whitewright, Tom Bean, Trenton, Knollwood, southwestern Lake Texoma, Randolph, and Lake Texoma around 425 AM CDT. Bells around 430 AM CDT. Pottsboro and Savoy around 435 AM CDT. Denison around 440 AM CDT. Valley Lake around 445 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Cannon, Preston, Ida, Sadler, Elmont, Cotton Center, Locust, Pilot Grove, Ely, and Luella. This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 500 and 503. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
