...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN HAMILTON...CORYELL...LAMPASAS AND SOUTHEASTERN MILLS
COUNTIES...

At 518 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Evant, or 20
miles west of Gatesville, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

This severe storm will be near...
  Gatesville around 545 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Pancake,
Shive, Moline, Izoro, Adamsville, Whiteway, Levita, Center City,
South Purmela, and King.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for central Texas.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.

Heavy rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
