...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Phillips, eastern
Petroleum, western Garfield and western Valley Counties through 645
PM MDT
...

At 541 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 11 miles west of Port Of Morgan to 7 miles
southeast of Fourchette to 16 miles east of Roundup. Movement was
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Malta, Whitewater, Saco, Sand Springs, Fourchette, U L Bend Rec Area,
Loring, Hell Creek Rec Area, Brusett, Hinsdale, Crooked Creek Rec
Area, Devils Creek Rec Area, Port Of Morgan, Edwards, Mosby,
Vandalia, Wagner, The Bentonite Plant, Frenchman Reservoir, and Sun
Prairie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near Fort Peck Lake, get out of the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
