...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN ROOKS COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...
The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for north central
Kansas. In addition, a separate Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains
in effect until 730 PM CDT for northwestern Rooks County.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN SMITH AND OSBORNE COUNTIES...
At 651 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
Alton, or 28 miles north of Emmeram, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Osborne, Downs, Gaylord, Alton, Portis, Harlan, and Cedar.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for north central
