.DISCUSSION...Southwest winds with gusts 30-40 mph, possibly up to
50 mph, will come to an end this evening with the approach and passage
of a cold front. Slightly cooler temperatures and calm winds will
follow to round out the week. Afternoon convection remains possible
along the Colorado Divide mountains through the weekend. Hot and dry
weather will firmly settle in next week, with at least localized
critical fire weather conditions possible in the afternoons.
