.DISCUSSION...Instability will lead to isolated/low end scattered
showers and thunderstorms along the Continental Divide and the
eastern Uinta Mountains. Winds will be light today beneath an
upper level ridge. However, winds pick up Wednesday ahead of cold
front as a Pacific trough approaches the area and the ridge is
forced east. The front brings a brief cool down for the northern
and central zones Thursday, but temperatures will return to near 5
degrees above normal for the remainder of the period. Meanwhile,
isolated/scattered mountain showers/thunderstorms are expected
each afternoon along with moderately breezy westerly winds.
