For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Expect another round of isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms
over the mountains this afternoon/evening. The main threat from this
activity will be strong outflow winds and lightning. Elsewhere, dry and
warmer than normal conditions will continue with winds becoming breezy
during the afternoon. A slight cool down is expected Thursday and Friday as
a system brushes the north, forcing a cold front across the region.
However, by this weekend, temperatures are expected to rebound, climbing
back to around 5 degrees above normal where it will stay through early next
week. Meanwhile, afternoon/evening shower and thunderstorm activity is
expected to continue over the mountains each day.
