The National Weather Service in Goodland has cancelled the Fire
Weather Watch.

Briefly critical fire weather conditions are possible this
afternoon, but conditions should not last for more than an hour or
two. Be alert though as a front will move through later and
abruptly shift the winds to out of the north.

The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from noon today to 6 PM MDT this evening. The Fire Weather Watch
is no longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 254 Cheyenne.

* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.

* IMPACTS...Fires will start easier and spread rapidly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid burning or creating sparks if possible.
