Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

The overnight hours saw mostly clear skies across the area with a
few sprinkles in Northwest Kansas. Temperatures as of two in the
morning ranged from 49 in Wray, Colorado to 59 in Hoxie, Kansas.
Winds were generally from the south at 5 to 15 mph.

OUTLOOK... Today is forecast to be warmer than yesterday with
highs reaching the upper 70`s and 80`s across the region
underneath a mix of sunny and cloudy skies. Severe storms are
possible this afternoon and evening across a majority of the
region, but favoring Kansas and Nebraska. A cold front will move
through this evening, shifting winds to out of the north with wind
gusts up to 40 mph. Tomorrow, temperatures are forecast to be a
bit cooler in the mid to upper 70`s underneath partly cloudy
skies. Winds will be a bit breezy from the northwest at 20 mph
with gusts up to 35 mph.
