...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL YUMA COUNTY IN
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO...NORTHERN CHEYENNE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN
KANSAS AND DUNDY COUNTIES IN SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA THROUGH 815 PM
MDT/915 PM CDT/...

At 730 PM MDT/830 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 18 miles northeast of Wray
to 17 miles northwest of Benkelman to near Haigler. Movement was east
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Benkelman.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 223 and 224, and
between mile markers 226 and 232.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT/1000
PM CDT/ for northeastern Colorado...northwestern Kansas...and
southwestern Nebraska.
