Mostly sunny skies and breezy conditions prevailed across the
region during the late afternoon. South winds gusting to 20 mph
were reported in north-central Wisconsin near Rhinelander. 3 PM
temperatures ranged from the upper 60s to the low 70s across the
forecast area.

Mostly clear skies will continue through tonight as winds begin
to die down this evening. Low temperatures are expected to range
from the low 40s in the far northeast along the UP border to the
low 50s across north-central Wisconsin.

Rain and storm chances will return to the forecast Friday
afternoon as high pressure departs the area to the east. Best
chances for thunder will be across portions of central to north-
central Wisconsin. No severe storms are currently expected. Highs
are forecast to range from the upper 60s along the lakeshore to
the upper 70s in the Fox Valley.
