Scattered light showers lingered over the region overnight as a
strong low pressure moved across western Lake Superior. Otherwise,
cloudy skies prevailed with temperatures in the upper 50s to
middle 60s.

The passage of an upper-level disturbance may bring a chance of
showers and a few thunderstorms to mainly northern and parts of
central Wisconsin this afternoon. The rest of the area should stay
dry with high temperatures in the lower 60s to lower 70s.

Other than a few lingering light showers over far north-central
Wisconsin, the rest of the region will be dry tonight with low
temperatures in the middle 40s to lower 50s.

A weak frontal boundary is forecast to settle over the northern
Great Lakes on Thursday and bring a a slight chance of showers and
storms to far northern Wisconsin in the afternoon. Otherwise,
mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies can be expected with highs in
the 70s.
