Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
337 AM CDT Thu May 16 2024

Partly cloudy skies and calm conditions prevailed across the
region overnight as a mid-level cloud deck began to build in from
the west. 3 AM temperatures ranged from the upper 30s in far
northeast Wisconsin to the low 50s from central Wisconsin to the
Fox Valley.

Cloud cover will continue to build in ahead of a line of showers
throughout the morning. Thunderstorms are expected to develop
early this afternoon, with a few strong to severe storms possible
mainly across central and east-central Wisconsin. Gusty winds and
large hail would be the primary hazards with any storms that do
develop. High temperatures are forecast to range from the upper
50s across north-central Wisconsin to the upper 60s in central
Wisconsin. A light southeast lake breeze will result in locally
cooler temperatures near the lake and bay.

Storms will gradually exit to the east tonight into tomorrow
morning, leaving clearing skies and drier conditions heading into
the weekend. On and off chances for rain and storms will continue
through the weekend.
