...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT FRANKLIN...STEPHENS...
HABERSHAM...SOUTHWESTERN RABUN AND SOUTHWESTERN OCONEE COUNTIES
THROUGH 730 AM EDT...

At 644 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles northwest of Clarkesville to 10 miles
west of Homer. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Toccoa, Clarkesville, Carnesville, Cornelia, Baldwin, Demorest, Mount
Airy, Alto, Martin, and Avalon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
