NORTHWESTERN GREENVILLE AND NORTHERN PICKENS COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM EDT... At 802 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles southwest of Brevard, or 5 miles south of Rosman, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Slater-Marietta, Rosman, Lake Toxaway, Pleasant Ridge State Park, Jones Gap State Park, Gorges State Park, Table Rock State Park, Caesars Head State Park, Lake Jocassee, and Jocassee Gorges.
