NORTHEASTERN BUNCOMBE...SOUTHEASTERN YANCEY AND WESTERN BURKE
COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM EDT...

At 742 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles south of Burnsville, or 4 miles south of Mount Mitchell State
Park, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Marion, Spruce Pine, Morganton, Black Mountain, Glen Alpine, Old
Fort, B.R. Parkway-East Asheville To Craggy Gardens, B.R.
Parkway-Craggy To Little Switzerland, Lake James State Park, and B.R.
Parkway-Little Switzerland To Linville.
