...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Chambers and Liberty
  Counties.

  Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County.

For the Trinity River...including Liberty, Moss Bluff...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River near Moss Bluff.

* WHEN...Until Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 15.2 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins in the
  vicinity of the gage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 9.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 14.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Saturday morning and continue falling to 11.7 feet Monday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.2 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    13.8 feet on 11/18/1998.

* WHERE...Trinity River at Liberty.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 26.5 feet, Roads into some outlying communities above
  the gage can have up to one foot of water over them.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 26.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Wednesday was 27.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tonight and continue falling to 24.3 feet Monday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    26.3 feet on 05/18/1994.
