...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL FORT BEND...NORTHERN
BRAZORIA AND SOUTH CENTRAL HARRIS COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 PM CDT...

At 1203 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
eastern Rosenberg, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northwestern Pearland, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Rosenberg,
Stafford, Bellaire, West University Place, Richmond, Hunters Creek
Village, Bunker Hill Village, Piney Point Village, Fresno, Mission
Bend, Town West, Pecan Grove, First Colony, Spring Valley, Greenway /
Upper Kirby Area, Afton Oaks / River Oaks Area, and southeastern
Eldridge / West Oaks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
