...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN GRIMES...NORTH CENTRAL BURLESON...BRAZOS AND WESTERN
MADISON COUNTIES...

At 741 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Wixon Valley,
or 9 miles north of Bryan, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
College Station, Bryan, Kurten, Wixon Valley, Kyle Field, Bryan
Utilities Lake, Normangee, Iola, North Zulch, and Carlos.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for southeastern
Texas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
