today followed by temperatures near average on Wednesday.
Afternoon high temperatures will warm again later this week
into the weekend. Dry conditions are projected for the week,
except for a possibility for thunderstorms in the Sierra Nevada
crest until this evening. Gusty westerly winds are expected for
the Mojave Desert Slopes into the weekend.
