...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 AM CDT THIS
MORNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN DEKALB AND SOUTHEASTERN MARSHALL COUNTIES...

At 639 AM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain in Albertville. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported a culvert was washed out
         at 6:35 AM CDT.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Albertville, Boaz, Guntersville, Crossville, Fyffe, Geraldine,
  Douglas, Lakeview, McVille, Painter, Hustleville, Kilpatrick,
  Whiton, Lathamville, Arona, Hopewell, Rodentown, Lake Guntersville
  St Park, Chigger Hill and Rabbit Town.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
