.DISCUSSION...
Light and variable 20 foot winds are expected on Thursday of 5
mph or less. Northwestern Alabama will see transport winds of less
than 5 mph. Further east, transport winds will be from the NW
between 5 and 10 mph. Mixing heights will climb to between 5000
and 7000 feet providing good smoke dispersion values. Conditions
don`t change much into Friday. Mixing heights may be slightly
lower, but still well above 4000 feet.
Fog potential over the next few days: None is expected at this
time due to either drier air in place or winds overnight.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected at this
time.
