...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL FRANKLIN AND
SOUTHWESTERN LAWRENCE COUNTIES THROUGH 1115 AM CDT...

At 1050 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northeast of Phil Campbell, or 10 miles southeast of
Russellville, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Moulton, Hatton, Newburg, Mt Hope, Wren, Landersville, and Bankhead
National Forest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
