...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL LAUDERDALE...
SOUTHWESTERN COLBERT AND NORTHERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 AM
CDT...

At 937 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Tishomingo State Park, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Florence, Russellville, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Red Bay, Cherokee,
Littleville, Belgreen, Malone, and Posey Loop.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
