...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON AND DEKALB
COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM CDT...

At 308 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fyffe, or near Rainsville, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Rainsville, Henagar, Sylvania, Fyffe, Powell,
Geraldine, Section, and Ider.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
