At 1050 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles northeast of Phil Campbell, or 10 miles southeast of Russellville, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
