Partly cloudy skies were in place across most of central and
eastern Kansas today with a few late afternoon showers over mainly
southeast Kansas. Late afternoon temperatures were generally in
the mid and upper 70s area wide.

Scattered showers and storms are expected this evening across far
southeast Kansas, southern Missouri along with most of Oklahoma as
a slow moving cold front moves through the area. In addition, some
fog will be possible late tonight into Friday morning for southern
and eastern Kansas. For Friday, the best shower and storm chances
will be from eastern Oklahoma, into southern Missouri and
Arkansas as an upper level disturbance slides through the area.

Overnight lows are expected to range from the upper 40s across
western Nebraska and far western Kansas, to the low 60s across
eastern Oklahoma. Look for highs on Friday to range from the upper
80s across most of Nebraska and western Kansas, to the low 70s
across southern Missouri.
