...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NEW HANOVER AND PENDER COUNTIES
THROUGH 830 PM EDT...

At 725 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Willard, or near Wallace, moving southeast at 25 mph. Doppler was
also tracking a cluster of thunderstorms between Castle Hayne and
Scotts Hill, also moving to the southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Burgaw, Wrightsville Beach, Surf City, North Masonboro
Island, Figure Eight Island, Hampstead, Maple Hill, Hightsville, Long
Creek, Cape Fear Community College North Campus, Ashton, Wilmington
International Airport, Rocky Point, Murrayville, Castle Hayne,
University Of North Carolina At Wilmington, Scotts Hill, Ogden, and
Woodside.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 388 and 416.
 Interstate 140 between mile markers 15 and 20.
