Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
445 AM CDT Thu May 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...Current radar scans show that most of the showers
and storms have started to diminish across the area early this
morning. Storm chances will start to increase as we head into the
afternoon and evening, especially for locations across northeast
Louisiana, southeast Arkansas, and central and northern
Mississippi. Widespread dense fog is not anticipated at this time
however, some patchy fog cannot be ruled out especially in areas
that receive rainfall in the evening hours.
