...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN TENSAS AND SOUTHEASTERN
FRANKLIN PARISHES...WESTERN JEFFERSON AND ADAMS COUNTIES THROUGH 1230
AM CDT...

At 1143 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Winnsboro to near Waterproof to near Dolorosa.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Natchez, Waterproof, Kingston, Helena, and Cooter Point around
  1150 PM CDT.
  Crowville around 1155 PM CDT.
  Church Hill, Cranfield, Stanton, and Newlight around 1200 AM CDT.
  St. Joseph around 1205 AM CDT.
  Lake Bruin around 1210 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
northeastern Louisiana...and southwestern Mississippi.
