Through 8 am, showers along a broken line with a few embedded
thunderstorms extending from the Gulf waters north of the Dry
Tortugas to the Straits of Florida near the Marathon Humps will wax
and wane as they move east to southeast at near 10 knots. Mariners
encountering the stronger portions of this activity can expect
moderate to heavy rainfall reducing visibilities to less than 3
miles, wind gusts up to near 25 knots, and a few lightning strikes.
