Through 900 pm, a cluster of showers will spread south to southwestward at around 10 mph through the nearshore gulf waters adjacent to the Middle Keys. This activity will produce wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph and blinding downpours. Island locations near Marathon may be affected by a spell of moderate to heavy rain. Should these showers hold together, rainfall amounts of one to one and one half of an inch will be possible. $$
