.DISCUSSION...
Green conditions, recent rainfall, and humidity above critical levels
will keep widespread fire weather concerns low through early next week.
However rainfall was more limited across both far northwestern and far
southwestern Nebraska where there were pockets of dryness. With gusty
winds today, there may be locally enhanced fire weather conditions where
dry fuels persist both north of Hwy 2/west of Hwy 61 in the northwest and
south of I-80/west of Hwy 61 in the southwest. Chances for wetting rainfall
exist Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening, and again by mid to late
next week.
