...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN LINCOLN COUNTY
THROUGH MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1116 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of Dickens, or 18 miles southwest of North Platte, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
North Platte, Hershey, Dickens, Lake Maloney State Recreation Area,
and Birdwood.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 165 and 181.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 73 and 82.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for southwestern
Nebraska.
