...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN FRONTIER AND SOUTHEASTERN HAYES COUNTIES...

At 147 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles southwest of Hayes Center to 17 miles north of
Culbertson to 12 miles north of McCook, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Hayes Center, Quick, Bluegill Haven Campground, Willow View
Campground, Hayes Center State Wildlife Management Area, and Red
Willow Reservoir State Recreation Area.

This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 27 and 42.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for southwestern
Nebraska.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
