317 FZUS54 KLCH 251516 AAA CWFLCH Coastal Waters Forecast...UPDATED National Weather Service Lake Charles LA 1016 AM CDT Sat May 25 2024 Coastal waters from the Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 nautical miles including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest one third of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest ten percent of the waves. GMZ400-260315- 1016 AM CDT Sat May 25 2024 .SYNOPSIS... Surface high pressure continues to dominate our weather pattern. On shore flow will continue for the next several days with winds around 10 to 15 knots. Saturday night winds will increase approaching 20 knots and a caution statement for small craft will go into effect. Waves will increase with the winds reaching 6 feet Saturday and Sunday then decreasing to 4 feet on Monday.
