.DISCUSSION...
Northerlies will continue to increase through this afternoon in
response high pressure behind last night`s frontal passage into
in to the NW Gulf. Together with some enhancement of the pressure
gradient on the western periphery of Helene and the separate high
pressure driven northerly regime slightly cooler and drier conditions
are expected to prevail into the weekend. Northerly winds will
gradually increase throughout the day with gusts approaching 20-25kts
along the Acadiana region before easing Friday.
