...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EVANGELINE...SOUTHERN
AVOYELLES...NORTH CENTRAL ST. LANDRY AND SOUTHEASTERN ALLEN PARISHES
THROUGH 200 AM CDT...

At 127 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Simmesport to Bond to near Dry Creek.
Movement was southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ville Platte, Bunkie, Mamou, Simmesport, Oberlin, Moreauville, Turkey
Creek, Palmetto, Bayou Current, Morrow, Mittie, Cottonport, Pine
Prairie, Washington, Chataignier, Evergreen, Plaucheville, Bayou
Chicot, Goudeau, and Indian Lake.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 27 and 51.
