The Flood Watch is cancelled for a portion of southeast Louisiana,
including the following parishes, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana,
Iberville, Northern Livingston, Northern Tangipahoa, St. Helena,
Washington, West Baton Rouge and Western Ascension.

The flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch is being
cancelled.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT TODAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana, including the following
  parishes, Assumption, Central Plaquemines, Central Tangipahoa,
  Eastern Ascension, Eastern Orleans, Lower Jefferson, Lower
  Tangipahoa, Northern St. Tammany, Southeast St. Tammany, Southern
  Livingston, Southwestern St. Tammany, St. Charles, St. James, St.
  John The Baptist, Upper Jefferson, Upper Lafourche, Upper
  Plaquemines, Upper St. Bernard, Upper Terrebonne and Western
  Orleans and southern Mississippi, including the following areas,
  Northern Hancock, Northern Harrison, Northern Jackson, Pearl
  River, Southern Hancock, Southern Harrison and Southern Jackson.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT today.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rainfall are still
    possible this morning. The risk for flash flooding will
    continue as these storms move through, and a quick 1 to 3
    inches of rainfall is possible over saturated soils.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
