Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
344 PM CDT Mon May 27 2024

.DISCUSSION...

There will be potential for afternoon thunderstorms each day this
week, but areal coverage of storms is likely to be rather
limited. Generally drier air will work into the area beginning on
Tuesday. Minimum afternoon humidities could fall below 40 percent
on Tuesday north of Interstate 10, potentially near 30 percent in
some locations, but should moderate a bit on Wednesday with
slightly cooler high temperatures.
