JOHN THE BAPTIST, CENTRAL ASCENSION, NORTHERN ST. JAMES AND SOUTH
CENTRAL LIVINGSTON PARISHES THROUGH 1230 PM CDT
...

At 1201 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Sorrento, or near Gonzales, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Gonzales, Lutcher, Sorrento, and French Settlement.

This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 178 and
195.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
