...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN
TERREBONNE PARISH THROUGH 545 PM CDT
...

At 518 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing a waterspout over marine areas over Dulac, or 16
miles south of Houma, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, winds in excess of 40 mph, and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs
         and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dulac, Chauvin, Cocodrie, Montegut, and Lumcon Center Buoy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
