FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Westerly winds behind the exiting low pressure system early this
morning will become southeasterly as a warm front from the next
incoming low pressure system moves northward. The incoming deepening
low pressure around 29.4 inches will advance northeast across
northern Wisconsin traversing the northern Great Lakes Region as
it heads toward Canada. Stronger south to southwesterly winds
will persist as the low lifts into the Upper Great Lakes region
through Wednesday before weakening heading into the end of the
week. There continues to be the potential for periods of
thunderstorms over the lake, especially southern portions Tuesday
into Wednesday morning.

increasing to 10 to 20 kt late. Patchy fog this morning. Isolated
showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Waves 1 to 2 ft.
.TONIGHT...East winds to 30 kt veering to south. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 7 to 10 ft
occasionally to 13 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds to 30 kt. Waves 7 to 10 ft
occasionally to 13 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to
25 kt. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft subsiding to 3 to
5 ft.
.THURSDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 25 kt. Waves 2 to 4 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt veering to

.TONIGHT...Southeast winds to 30 kt becoming southwest. Scattered
thunderstorms with isolated showers in the evening, then
scattered showers and thunderstorms overnight. Waves 3 to 5 ft
building to 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt.
Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft subsiding to 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt becoming west
10 to 15 kt. Waves 3 to 5 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
