...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MONROE...NORTHWESTERN
CUMBERLAND...EAST CENTRAL BARREN...SOUTHWESTERN ADAIR AND METCALFE
COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM CDT...

At 351 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms from
8 miles east of Glasgow to 6 miles northwest of Tompkinsville to
near Red Boiling Springs. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tompkinsville, Edmonton, Leslie, Gamaliel, Curtis, Gum Tree, Blythe,
Harlan Crossroads, Lecta, and New Liberty.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
south central Kentucky.
