For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low near Lake Superior will push a cold
front towards the lakes through tonight. A 29.9 inch high over
the Upper Mississippi Valley will then build east across the
Great Lakes region Thursday through Friday. A 29.5 inch low near
Lake Superior Friday night will weaken as it tracks into Southern
Quebec while sending a cold front through the lakes. A 29.9 inch
high will then build in Saturday night and remain over the area
through Sunday.

.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west 10 to
15 knots. Showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms early,
then a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms
may produce gusty winds this evening. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding
to 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest. Waves
1 to 2 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves around
1 foot.
.FRIDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east.
Waves 1 foot or less.
.SATURDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest. A
chance of showers. Waves 2 feet or less.

severe with strong winds, and large hail this evening. Waves 2
